  Saved loads of Money 09 July 2014

  This Thermostat saved me the cost of a new tumble dryer.. Even had an engineer out who said nothing wrong with dryer.. But as i knew it wasnt drying correctly i presumed it would be this part as both element were ok. Had to remove top of dryer and side panel, to gain access to thermostat which was located just inside the door through the vents.. Push the old thermostat out with a piece of wood ( held in by rubber gromet) disconnected old one, removed grommet added new one and reconnected and push back inplace from insde machine.. Dryer is now working 100%!

  Now the clothes dry. 10 March 2014

  Dryer would heat and rotate but not dry fully. I took a guess that this would fix it, it did. To fit remove the top and right hand side . Working through the door opening push on top of the sensor with a length of wood to remove it. From the right side unplug sensor and remove from grommet. Replace the grommet in machine. Connect new sensor, put some liquid soap around the top shoulder and push it in place. Replace side and top. Good as new.

  Bosh Tumble Dryer Thermostat 08 July 2010

  My Bosch WTA3606GB sensor dyer kept stopping and the empty filter warning alarm kept sounding, clothes wouldn't dry. I was just on the verge of buying a brand new £400 machine when a guy at work said that if the old thermostat low down inside the door reveal was faulty it could register higher temperatures indicating restricted airflow, hence indicating the filter is full when it wasn't. I ordered the sensor from E Spares, it came within 3 days. Fitting involved unscrewing the top and the right hand facing side panel of the machine, from there just a simple push fit connector to change the sensor. Machine fixed, £400 saved. I can't believe something so simple can cause someone without knowledge to have to either replace their machine or pay a fortune in engineers fees, mine was fixed in 25 mins and under £20. Well done e- Spares, I will definitely use you again - Excellent!.
