Too expensive for only one rear and one front socket 12 February 2018

So if you only need two front sockets...you have to buy two sets????? Overpriced for what you get and the trouble to fix. Not eSpares fault on difficulty of repair but you should be able to buy individual front and back as needed.

Not to be undertaken lightly 30 November 2017

Accessing the reverse side of the oven lining, to fit the clips, should only be attempted if you are confident you have adequate skills and experience. Once you start taking out the many screws necessary to release the outer side panel and get access, the oven structure as a whole becomes unstable and different sections can move around and get out of position. Therefore, the care must be exercised and ideally do not move the oven at all once you have started stripping down. On the Neff U1722, and maybe others, it is not necessary to remove the bottom panel entirely but just to loosen/remove screws on the side where access was required. Rear panel and top panel (covering the electrical controls) had to come off entirely, as others have remarked. Agree with tips about marking screw holes to facilitate refixing. All screws on U1722 the same size so no need to keep them in order. Fitting the clip is easy once you have removed the side panel. Take care with reasssembly and do not force screws in: if the screw holes do not line up, something is out of position. Generally the comments in other reviews are helpful - I could not have done the job without them - but some underplay the difficulty of removing the side panel. It probably seems easy if you are familiar with stripping down kitchen appliances, but if you aren't it's more of a challenge.

Having received these replacement parts I have absolutely no idea how to fit them as no directions for fitting were included. Therefore, presently have not been able to use!

    poor value 01 November 2016

Fiddly to fit and the value for some small pieces of metal is not good, however as you need these parts to replace broken shelf supports you have no choice

    Manufacturing hiccup 16 February 2016

Three of the sockets fitted immediately. The fourth required filing to fit. This was due to a manufacturing anomaly because the fourth slot was a slightly smaller size than its opposite number. The components supplied were interchangeable so it was not an error on your part or in my repair method. Instead of 20 minutes it took an hour-and-a-half! But it did work!

Pricey but effective repair parts 19 February 2015

If you're irritated by the grill or oven rails falling out due to broken sockets, these repair parts are worth the effort of stripping the side off the oven to fit. Many reviewers have accurately described the procedure, which requires just a little patience and a methodical approach - and care to use the right sockets as there are two different designs included... A trick is to make sure that the retaining clip with the 'P' shaped flange is in the correct orientation to press the rail down into the 'keyhole' of the socket when it's pushed in - before you screw the side panel back on. Get it the wrong way up and the rail will not locate firmly. In general though, a straightforward job and hopefully it should last to the end of the useful life of the oven.

    Necessary repair 29 January 2015

You need to remove the oven from the housing and rest on floor. Then undo the untold screws holding the side panel and remove.you can then fit the shelf holders which will click into place. Replace side panel and push oven back into housing. Allow approx 20 minutes to fit

Complicated but not impossible to fit 11 December 2014

I did this repair my self. Take your time and note in what order you take off each part. A room rough outline is you have to remove the side panel, which requires some screws from the top, base and rear to be removed too. you can then pull back the insulation, pop the new shelf support in place from inside the oven cavity then attach the retaining clip on the back (which is why you have to strip it down). Note the front and back and left and right supports are different. This pack has one for each corner in.

neff oven shelf brackets 11 November 2014

the product is of good quality, easy to fit once you get to them! TIP remove the oven doors then lay the oven on its front so you can still reach inside, mark where the screws are that you are taking out first then remove top bottom side panel's, you will need a star * screw driver GOOD LUCK
