I have an Hygena cooker hood extrator fan that does not go outside but i have 2 numbers APM 2211 and APP 2300 can you please tell me which filter i need?

    Hi Thomas36, these are two different models, I'm perplexed as to why you have both numbers! I am asking this because my hood is over 20 years old and I have forgotten where and what it is I did not know that you could replace this part and have been yusing the original!!!!!

It looks right with the two fixing lugs each side and is the right 210 diam.

I don't know make of extractor. I bought it with kitchen from MFI 2005.

The hood and filters came from howdens

    Take out a carbon filter and use a vacuum cleaner with a white tissue over the tip to draw air through the filter. If the tissue 'greys' it suggests charcoal dust is escaping the filter. Use the vacuum to draw loose dust out of the filter and replace if required. There may be a little loose dust when a filter is replaced, a light vacuum may remove this.
