Answer this question

Water not being let into dishwasher, could this be a float switch on the inlet reservoir? I have seen video on you tube. If so what price and can you supply?

If the power is definately at the switch but no lights on the board the problem is likely to be the board. For information on this problem see our diagnosis video http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/3/1985/how-to-diagnose-control-and-programme-issues-with-a-dishw

Answer this question

We recently moved into a new property and have just purchased a broken soap dispenser door and fixed it ok (the latching lug was damaged) but have now discovered that the door still does not latch. What is the most likely cause and can it be easily fixed?

Depending on what has broken this kit may resolve your problem but you may have to replace the whole dispenser.

  • split the the door front and cut the lug off the back of the spindle By matvan2007 - - 29 March 2010
Answer this question

It's not clear to me whether you can fit this parts kit without dismantling the dispenser unit. Can you just remove the sliding soap cover and access the existing parts beneath it (if so, then what's the trick to remove the soap cover?) or will I need to remove the front door trim in order to access the rear of the soap dispenser? Thanks!

  • you need to split the door front from the inside by removing the security screws then cut the lug off the tripping device with side cutters replace with new one ,refit door front and then fit the spring to the dispenser then attach the draw front By matvan2007 - - 29 March 2010
Answer this question

I want to replace not only the spring but also the cam spindle itself since the interlocking of the lid (also being replaced) is effected by the sloping lugs on the lid and cam spindle arm and BOTH are worn, but it looks like the spindle has a locating spring groove at its lower end, which spring would be inside the main body. Is it possible to replace the spindle from the top just by pulling the old one out and pushing the new one in or does it need to be done by taking the whole dispenser unit to pieces ?

Unfortunately we cannot give out technical advice. Please speak to the manufacturer directly or an engineer. Hopefully they will be able to help.

Answer this question

How do you fit this part?

By Anonymous - - 05 January 2009
  • Push spring ends over the lugs on the cover and on the body where the original part was. The spring it self should be located towards the bottom of the soap dispencer. Then pull back the cover in the direction of the arrow without over streching the spring and it should click into place, you may have to jiggle it a little but don't force it.
