We would not recommend this cleaner to be run continually for long periods so it may not be suitable for this purpose.
I intend to purchase this to clean up ash on a BBQ. Would I use with both filters in place or just the hepa filter on its own? 1 Answer

We believe both filters but double check with the operating instructions before use.

It is not recommended to wash either filters, the heap filter pulls off so it can be taken out and shaken.

Although it could vacuum any non liquid debris it is an ash vacuum and not designed for running for long periods.
