- Hi There, Once you have removed all three screws, slide the handle off (slides towards you horizontally), the cover leading to the switch and pcb etc can then be removed. Best Regards

Received from you the universal mains cable for vacuuum cleaners. I need to use connectors/terminal blocks to link up wiring from the new cable to the part of the old cable that must remain, What is correct amperage for connector/terminal block has to be. 1 Answer

You do not need to connect this cable to the old one as this is a direct replacement and wires straight into the vacuum.

The cable can be replaced using the following how to video on our youtube channel. Although the vacuum in the video is an older model the process should be fairly similar.
I was wo dering if the terminal parts of this cord are free or do they come with female spade connector attached?

I've a Dyson DC41 with the longer cable (which we don't need) and it's forever in a knot regardless of what we do. It drives us mad. Never had another Dyson like it. Thanks!

We are not aware of any issues with the mains cable, the cable retainers on the vacuum should be used to ensure it is safely stored.

This cable should be suitable if your cleaner uses a two core cable. Use Stock Number: ES1673454 if you need a three core cable.
