There tends to be two main problems with these dryers. Problems relating to wear see our video: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/9/1438/how-to-replace-the-shaft-and-bearings-on-a-tu However if it is a condenser dryer and vibrating replace the Impeller fan in the appliance (not the one at the back)
model hotpoint aquarius tvm570. looked at back. looked like a rubber seal on centre of drum worn away, as black bits in back panel, a bit like carbon filings. what do I need to order please?

The main cause of the squeaking is a worn rear bearing (Stock Number: ES865498) but this can cause damage to the drum shaft.
