Having to replace this knob facia due to printing rubbing off, is there anything I can 'paint' on to prevent this in future. Safety first of course! 4 Answers
- Buy a stainless steel cloth. It has no chemicals. Simply dampen the cloth and wipe to remove dirt and buff with a microfibre cloth :) Hope this helps.

The painted markings are easily softened over time from contact with common cleaning materials. Using a lacquer to seal them can cause a reaction with the paint and may bubble up and melt. You could use a self adhesive film like a screen protector for a tablet to provide a barrier but if removed this may peal off the markings. The best protection is to avoid contact with cleaning materials and only use a clean moist cloth to wipe regularly.
