I believe my fridge lamp has overheated and failed. How do I remove the existing lamp to test and examine it? 1 Answer
The fridge door had moved on it's hinge and ceased to switch the lamp off. Hence the bulb failed. After reseting the door and fitting a new bulb, the new bulb failed to illuminate. I have not discovered the secrets of how to remove either the switch or lamp assembly for test. FYI I am an electrical engineer trained in electronics and instrumentation and feel 'at home' on the electrical aspects.
