The diffuser controls the volume of cold air flowing from the freezer evaporator in the fridge to maintain the overall temperature.
My fridge is not getting cold, freezer is working looks like the air flow is being restricted is could it be the thermostat thats connected to the air diffuser 1 Answer

It is unlikely to be the thermostat but could be blocked restricting the air flow, check for a blockage before suspecting anything else.

check if the freezer is over freezing behind the freezer panel, test the defrost heater as if is not working it can cause the fridge to over freeze.
