It seems to be held on by a single screw and some sort of push in fixing. but removing these does not seem to loosen the part. It also seems to be stuck in the locked position so I cannot close the door.

To remove this slide to the side once the screw is removed. To access the lock you may have to remove the top, control panel, kick plate, door door seal and front panel.

the catch on this model is not the same as your video model

To replace the catch in the picture this just unscrews from the door. To change the door lock you need to remove the top, the control panel the kick plat and the front panel to get access.
