I have a aeg competence b3101-4-m I think is the label, it works on 200 degrees for around 30 minutes and then cuts out, the clock display stays on but no light comes on in the oven and no fan at the back either, leave it to cool and then works again fine, I am yet to check if the top fan has power to it and if it does then I guess it’s this cooling fan I’d need? Any help would be much appreciated Thanks

The cooling fan will only come on when the oven has reached a high temperature, check the thermostat and switch before suspecting anything else.

Answer this question

Our Electrolux Fan oven is stopping part way through cooking and after about 5 to 10 minutes there is a click and it comes on again. The oven thermostat is working OK. I suspect this ventilation fan is not working causing the overheat thermostat to cut out. Also I couldn't feel any forced ventilation from under the control panel. Do you think this diagnosis is correct? Will try to take it out tomorrow and check it

From your comments we would suspect a faulty cooling fan.
