The male part in the handle of the mower is broken. Can you get this part or does it come with the switch replacement?

The plug on my flymo is damaged but I don't seem to be able to find a replacement part anywhere. My mains cable has the flymo connector (female) as shown in your photo.

I have accidentally cut the power cable of my flymo lawnmower, near to the connector. Can I attached the severed cable to the flymo re-wireable connector, rather than have to get a new cable?
- Yes you can, it's an easy job. Hope your grass isn't too long if you've not cut it in 3 weeks!
I have the cable but it has a plug on one end AND THE FEMALE CONNECTOR ON THE OTHER END
- The male part is in the handle of the mower. Your cable fits to the wall oulet and to the mower. You don't want a male connector on the end of the lead as you are likely to get a shock!!!
Can you get the male half of this connector that would fit on to a cable? My mother has a newish Flymo with a built in cable that she has chopped in half. She also has the Flymo lead with female connector on for her older Flymo equipment. Instead of replacing the complete cable on the newish Flymo I was hoping to fit a male connector on to what's left of the mower cable & then she can use the older female lead with the mower.
