Washing Machine Double Inlet Solenoid Valve

Washer starts to fill, water starts to flow in then it stops. Will do this 3 times then stops completely 1 Answer

We recommend checking that the drain hose is fitted correctly with a drain hose u-bend fitting, as water can siphon back up the hose into the drum. For further information please see our advice centre article: www.espares.co.uk/advice/symptom/washing-machine-overfilling-with-water
I removed the valve checked both coils which are ok but what make the solenoid open where is supply from ?

If you have metered the valves have a typical resistance of around 4000 ohms, check wiring from the board before suspecting the board is not supplying power.

Inlet valves will have a typical resistance of around 4000 ohms but any reading between 2000 and 6000 is likely to confirm the coil is OK.
