Dishwasher runs OK until the rinse cycle, stops at this point and therefore not completing cycle,Leaving standing water at bottom. If you move knob to the rinse cycle, it completes the cycle. What do I need?

If we move the timer switch onto the rinse cycle. This completes the overall cycle, leaving no standing water. Presumable a new PCB is NOT required?
