Universal Permanent Tumble Dryer Half Brick Vent Kit
No more hanging your tumble dryer hose out the window! Designed for use with houses made of brick as only half a brick needs to be removed for this vent. This spare from eSpares will easily remove condensation in your home, saving you from drilling a wide hole.
Specifications:
- Kit includes: 8 screws, 8 rawlplugs, 1 wall plate, 1 short round to rectangular adaptor, 1 white gravity grill with a rectangular spigot
- 1 Flat Channel Vent Length: 110 x54 x360mm (4.5" x 2.1" x 14.2")
- Ideal for venting tumble dryers
- Fits through the wall replacing half a brick
- Fits 102mm (4") hose diameter
Fitting Instructions:
- Before drilling a hole, make sure there are no cables or pipes behind the wall
- Select half a brick width to remove
- Push the vent duct through the drilled hole in the wall
- Fix the exterior grill vent by drilling four holes
- Secure the exterior vent with the supplied screws and rawlplugs
- Drill and screw the interior wall plate over the vent duct, with the supplied rawlplugs and screws
- The vent duct can be cut to leave a 30mm section protruding into the room
- Attach the rectangular to round adaptor to the vent duct internally, attaching the venting hose (not supplied)
Please note: This product does not include a venting hose. Please ensure there are no folds or kinks within the vent hose as this could restrict airflow.

How does the round vent hose from a tumble dryer fit onto the oblong interior end of the kit? 1 Answer
Also - does the external grille have drop-down flaps for when the dryer is not in use?

Hi Jayy, the long part of this kit has a rectangular hole at one end, for the wall, while the other end is circular. The grille does have flaps that close when not in use.
