As long as your fitting on the dryer is 100 mm wide (4 inch) this hose will be suitable.
I have a Hoover dryer SV23 and I have measured the current hose diameter as 3.5inch - would this fit please? 1 Answer

Yes this also has a diameter of 3.5in so it is the right part for you.
I have just received from you part no. ES503440. Your customer no. 925116. This appears to be the wrong hose for this machine for two reasons. 1. It is 100mm diameter whereas the machines adaptor is for a 8.9mm hose. 2. More importantly perhaps the spiral runs in the wrong direction so that it cannot be screwed into the adaptor. Should I be ordering ES 503447 as above? This would appear to be the corrct diameter but the web sitte gives no indication that the direction of the thread is any different from other hoses.
