Cooker Hood Mechanical Lock - Pack of 2

This pack of 2 replacement locks will keep the lower cover (that secures the filter) in place on your extractor fan. Don't let broken or damaged lower cover locks put you off from changing or cleaning your hood filters. Grab this handy replacement from eSpares and restore your cooker hood back to working order.

Please note: Bosch advise that you will require an adjustable clamp/grip (eg. plumbers grips) in order to fit this part. Apply slow pressure until the parts click together.

Genuine spare part suitable for select models of Bosch, Neff and Siemens cooker hoods.

Please check the list of suitable models to ensure that this spare part will fit your appliance.

    As Efficient as Ever

From start to finish the quality of delivery and service was to the level that I have come to expect. The video was most helpful although I was concerned that I might use too much force in fitting the new clip. However this was not a problem.

I have just received my order for the new cookerhood mechanical locks and have tried to get them to fit but they just don't. One of my locks is already in place so I just needed one for the other side. I have tried every which way to fit them but they just won't fit together. When I try fitting them together without the hood inbetween they don't either. Do I have faulty locks?

  • Rubber mallet strategically applied (on the chopping board did to protect my work surface) the trick!! By EllieMay - - 08 May 2011
  • There is a photo guide on the e-spares website. Just place the hood on a hard surface, insert the pin from underneath; locate the lock part (red) on top of the pin head and tap sharply once with a hammer. Just check first that the pin is intact and that the hole in the red locking part is free. When the catches failed for us, the pin had broken off in the red lock. • They can only fit together one way - there is an oblong shape on the grey part which should match up with the oblong hole on the red part. Lie your cooker hood on a work surface inside uppermost, insert the grey part from underneath, line up red part from the top and just lock them together by tapping sharply with a hammer. Hi Library Get ready, this is a technical one! The following link is to Bosch's website, where you can access line drawings for your specific Bosch cooker hood. First click the 'United Kingdom' link. On the next page you have to type your model number in the 'E-number' field of 'Appliance search', located on the right hand side of the page. This should then bring up the line drawings for your cooker hood and instruct you how to fit your locks. Good luck! P.S. If you are having trouble locating the model number on your cooker, check our guide to locating model numbers here:
