Can this be installed from the top of the built in hob or do you have to remove the hob first? 1 Answer
It looks like it can just be prised out with a screwdriver. Is this the case, or will you have to remove the hob from the work top first?

The 'arrow head' clips on either side will hold this switch to the panel and usually prevent it from being prised out until they have been squeezed.

Hi DavyJ This ignition button comes exactly how you see it in the picture. We do not currently sell waterproof covers for this type of button but will definitely look in to it for the future. Hope that helps!

Original lasted 19 years.Design allows moisture and dirt to pass into switch.(It is mounted into top flat surface switch panel at side of hob.)Random spark ignition function occurs when moisture enters switch.Might try sealing between button and its casing with silicon this time!!
