The oven lamp on my creda concept C461Ew oven keeps blowing the lamp has been replaced with correct oven lamp. Wondering if it's the lampholder 1 Answer

It is important to use the correct high temperature lamp as normal lamps can fail. It is unlikely to be a fault with the holder causing lamp failure.
Have replaced the bulb in my New World cooker but light still not working. Could it be the oven lamp holder that needs replacing and is it easy to replace? 1 Answer

Hello, it sounds as if the lamp holder, or the electrical wires it is attached to, is the most likely source of the problem. The holder is accessed via the rear of the oven. Check that the wires are attached to the holder securely and look for any visible signs of damage. You could also test the current with a multimeter to be sure. But be careful! Make sure the oven is switched off at the mains before you work on it.
