Universal 3-Sided Oven Door Seal Kit - 1.5m

This universal door seal is designed to fit most modern ovens that have a three-sided seal. The seal attaches to the body of the oven by a single hook in each corner.

Please make sure that there is a single hole in each corner of your oven. This will not fit ovens that have two holes in each corner.

Oven Door Seal Holes

The kit includes a 1.5m length of black door seal that you cut to the right size for your oven, plus 2 corner and 2 straight hooks to attach the seal to the body. Comes with full fitting instructions.

PLEASE NOTE: Not suitable for ovens with curved corners or more than one hole in each corner.

To fit the new seal:

  1. Measure the distance between the holes
  2. Cut the top and sides of the seal to size
  3. Trim the joints to 45°, leave the bottom end of the side seal at 90°
  4. Insert the barbed corner hooks into the slot of the seal at the top corners
  5. Insert the barbed straight hook into the slot of the seal at the bottom of the sides
  6. Clip the corner hooks into the top holes and the straight hooks into the bottom holes on the face of the oven

Specification:

  • Colour: Black
  • Silicon
  • Length: 1.5m
  • Depth: 10mm
  • Includes 2 corner brackets and end clips

Where possible we would recommend that you order a branded/genuine door seal for your cooker. To find out if we carry the door seal for your oven please enter your oven model number in the search box above.

    Not best instructions

in view on site was for round corners and square, but wasn't given round corners in the fitting pack. Had to bodge the seal to fit it.

    Easy

Snip it to size using scissors, insert the hooks, hook it onto the oven. It really is that easy. The rubber does expand with the heat so be prepared to make small adjustments to the length as you'll probably won't make it tight enough first time round.

Hi andy1976, it sounds as if heat is escaping from the top oven, causing the control knobs to melt. A damaged door seal is the most common reason for this happening. Check out the video on this page for help fitting the door seal.

The clips supplied with this kit will give 'square' corners but it should be possible to use this kit.

Answer this question

there would be quite a gap between the hooks and the original seal was stuck down as well as hooked. My cooker is a Leisure Bistro 55 ng 5767.

The seal should not be stuck down just held taught by trimming a little shorter than the actual length and stretching into position.
