Tumble Dryer Lint Filter

Hi - I'm assuming that the filter actually has the "gauze" screen as well as just the plastic frame. I'm guessing it does but a question from another customer has got me thinking enough to check before I order. And as its see-through, I can't tell from the picture

The part should come with the screen as shown in the picture.
I have ordered a new filter (part no. 1702993) but there is no "stuff" on the inside of the filter, with it. Is this correct? 1 Answer

The filter should be empty on the inside, with usage it collects lint and fluff which should be emptied regularly.
