- The door is put together like a sandwich - using a straight screwdriver, prise the two sections apart, I did it from the bottom of the door so you wouldnt see it if I messed up. There you will be able to unscrew the screws. You will need a little star head screwdriver, but it might work with a little straight head screwdriver. Keep the screws and when the part arrives, do the above and snap the 2 sections back together and HOORAY!!!
- Separate the door with a sharp instrument it is only a push fit. Star key required to remove the catch very simple to fit
How do I take the door apart on my WTA3500gb/02 to fit this replacement door catch as there are no obvious screws? 1 Answer

We are sorry but do not have any specific information on fitting this part but in general we advise you remove the door for better access. Then usually the door will need to have the screws that hold the two parts together removed before unclipping them from each other.

Purchased after help from espares 26 March 2018
The door catch on my tumble dryer snapped so I needed a new one. It wasn't clear from the pictures on the site whether the door catch was supplied as part of the door. I emailed espares for advice and received an answer very quickly. The recommended spare part was ordered, arrived quickly, and fitted easily. Thank you espares! P.S; you'll need a medium (to get the door off) and small (to change the catch) torx head screwdrivers...you may also need to carefully prise the door apart depending on your make of dryer.
