Tumble Dryer Drum Bearing Kit
If your tumble dryer is making a loud noise when the drum is turning it may mean that the bearing has gone. There's no need to worry, eSpares could have just what you need. This drum bearing kit could soon be used to ensure your dryer is in tip-top condition once again.
Specification:
- 1x screw
- 1x self-tapping screw
- 1x star washer
- 1x washer
- 1x copper earth strip
- 1x bearing bush
- 1x spacer washer
- 1x triangle shaft plate
- Conductive lubricant
The shaft on the shaft plate is NON-Threaded. The original screws will 'tap' their thread as they are screwed in.
Please note: The riveted spider arm that is mounted to the drum is not supplied. If this has failed, the drum will need to be replaced.

The picture seems to show the back plate with spigot and the bearing. I need a replacement housing which is a cast item, and is rivetted to the drum. Does the kit include this, or alternatively can you supply one? CL767031276715300/13

- Hi. No it doesn't, if you need the cast bit it usually requires a new drum as the cast bit is rivited to it. I would look for a new machine!!! Adam
The bearing on my WK44AW is obviously worn, and I will order this, but the rivets securing the spider arm to the drum are also slightly loose. In the past, I have tightened rivets on other machinery by hammering. Would you consider this to be a viable repair?
- remove the top and the back of the tumble drier, using an electric drill and a drill bit drill out the rivets, and replace with short nut and bolts, preferably with a wide head. This worked for me quite well.

You could do this but it will just be very problematic to take it apart again should the need ever arise... Do you not have a tool available to you that will work?

A badly worn bearing can cause the drum to catch the base and cause banging as you describe so this may be the cause of your problem.
I have a white knight condenser tumble dryer, the bearing has blown and broken a spider arm. Can I buy the spider without the drum?
