    Good Replacement Element.

Easy enough to fit once you twig there is a little cross head screw inside the mains socket. 1. Undo the two cross head screws in the switch end of the handle and the aforementioned screw in the plug. 2. Lever off the back of the handle upwards. 3. Undo the two screws that hold the switch to the inside of the handle to expose the third torx head screws. 4. Undo the three torx screws then remove the element. 5. Inspect and clean the rubber gasket. 6. Fit the new element in the reverse order.

    fast response

I tried to get the element for my Russell Hobbs kettle and was told it was not available, next day I was pleasantly surprised to find out ESPARES had found one for me. I had gone to a repair shop and was told it could not be fixed. I would have liked an invoice enclosed with the packaging, Many Thanks, P.S.

    Economic purchase

My mothers ancient but faithful Russell Hobbs kettle recently "died" however as an electrical engineer I considered a repair and was amazed the spare element was still available , I ordered the element late one afternoon and was surprized when it turned up the following morning. Replacing the element was straight forward but was hampered by the 3 small spline-headed fixing screws securing the element - luckily I eventually found a friend that had the requisite tool .
