How to fit the dishwasher soap dispenser lid:
"Ease off the old lid taking care not to send the concealed spring flying across the room. Refit one eye of the existing spring over the plastic lug on the new lid and the eye at the other end of the spring goes onto a similar lug in the dispenser unit. (No new spring is provided)."

Does the lid become warped - the spring seems to be OK and it will lock sometimes so the catch must be OK but the lid does seem to be twisted on one side which allows the lid to raise in one corner (diagonally opposite the catch) twists a bit which then releases the catch mechanism

It is possible for the lid to become out of shape, if you have twisted it to work it is likely that it needs replacing.
Hi I'm having problems with the soap dispenser on my Neff dishwasher. i still have the spring but it's come away from the lid. i know there are fitting instructions 'Ease off the old lid taking care not to send the concealed spring flying across the room. ' but are there any diagrams so that i can see what the 'lugs' are? Thanks

My bosch dishwasher's soap dispenser lid won't stay shut. the m/chine is approx 9yrs old and works well. Will a new lid stop this problem? The m/chine is a bosch SGS5332GB/17 Thanks

Hi Krazykate, it could well be that you need a new lid - however it could also be the catch in the dispenser assembly. Test the catch with a blunt object to see if it still works.
- Its called "Bosch Dishwasher Tripping Device Spring" Stock Number: ES546388. I don't think you can get the spring on it's own.
Will the Dishwasher Soap Dispenser Lid fit my machine? I could not find it on your list. Is there another one that I can buy

Hi Nfthompson I'm afraid we do not stock the soap dispenser lids for the Siemens SE25A090 dishwasher, however we are looking to our suppliers and hope to stock one in the future. TRICKY REPLACEMENT ACCESSORY 10 January 2022
This replacement dishwasher lid was extensively packed - by this I mean the size of package was unbelievable to the size of the lid. It was very tricky to fit the spring onto the necessary ends and it took me time to watch a video of how to fit it as there were no instructions in the package. For the size of the product, the price seemed to be excessive.
