Melitta Kettle Anti-Calc Gel– 250ml
A cup of good tasting coffee needs clean, pure water and this can’t happen if your kettles heating element is coated in limescale. Water contains minerals such as magnesium and calcium, over time these minerals will accumulate on the element - this is limescale and to descale your kettle to remove the limescale.
It is suggested that you can use vinegar with water to descale your kettle, and although that could work, it would not be as effective as this anti-calc gel. Unlike using vinegar, this gel is neutral in odour - so you can rest assure that your machine won’t be scented with the harsh smells of chemicals or that unpleasant vinegar stench.
To ensure the longevity of your appliance you will want to regularly descale your kettle with this anti-calc gel, to guarantee a better tasting brew.
