Multi-Purpose Descaler
This all purpose descaler is perfect for small appliances in your home such as kettles, irons and coffee machines. It is recommended to descale your appliance every month in order maintain efficiency, and increase the life span of your appliance.

Instructions:
- Kettles: Mix 50ml and 1l water and heat until fizzing. Leave for several minutes. Empty and rinse kettle twice.
- Coffee makers: Mix 50ml and 500ml water in the reservoir. Run, then rinse twice with clean water.
- Steam irons: Mix 25ml and 250ml water. Heat iron until warm then unplug. Pour into the reservoir and set to steam position. Move iron over a bowl. Use the steam button to pump through the iron. Repeat with fresh water, drain and dry. Wipe soleplate.

Does the multi purpose descaler clean the rust coloured ring that appears on the base of the Russel Hobbs illuminating kettle 1 Answer
This is a new kettle , and my last one was the same make , and it show a rust colour ring on the base after a short time in use. Is this normal for this type of kettle
