Compatible replacement remote control suitable for select models of televisions
Are you after a simple remote control, that takes all the buttons and options you don't use out of the way for you? Looking for a quicker and easier way to sit back and enjoy the TV? eSpares could have just the thing for you here with the Smart Easy1 Learning remote control.
This handy remote control offers simple functions and large buttons to make things easy and convenient for you. It is ideal for children, the elderly, people who are visually impaired - and anyone who just wants a simple way of using their remote control.
Specification:
To 'learn' another remotes buttons
1. Press and hold the * and the # buttons together for over three seconds (the red indicator will light)
2. Press the 'receiving' button momentarily and release (light goes off and comes back on)
3. Press the 'sending' button on the old remote until the red indicator on the new remote blinks twice.
4. Programme any other buttons required.
5. Finally, once all the buttons you wish are programmed again push and hold the * and # buttons, the red light will flash for a few seconds until going off.
The learning remote is now ready for use.
Note: This remote control needs to 'copy' a working original remote, as it is not programmed.
It can copy most domestic remote controls but we cannot confirm which models it will work with.
is this easy to tune to TV? Do we need the original remote controller? I ask because my mother lives in a care home and the original remote is not in her room. She has a simplified control, on which she does not need to use buttons which seems a good idea, but she is now finding this difficult. We think she would manage better with large buttons.
re R Henderson's question: The volume control signal on your old remote does not send a 'burst' but sends continuously to keep stepping up or down. Try the same method but press only for a few seconds on the old remote so the signal stops.
This remote can copy any of the buttons used from another working remote control.
Hi, the sending and receiving buttons are the ones that you wish to clone. For example, if you wanted to clone channel one to the new remote, you'd press 1 on the learning remote and then press 1 on the old remote you're cloning from. Simply repeat this for each button as required.
This remote can copy any of the buttons used from another working remote control.
i.e. Can button 1 be used to remember a 3-digit TV Channel number.
We do not think this is possible, on this remote.
his is a 'learning remote' and can copy commands as it does not come programmed, You can programme any function to any button.
