This 2 Gang Power Socket with 2.1A USB Charging Ports is ideal for charging your iPads, iPhones, tablets, mobiles, cameras and many more devices.
These twin sockets are a perfect alternative as replacements to your current power sockets, as they offer you the added bonus of featuring 2 USB charging ports for all your mobile devices. This socket will now enable you to charge your mobile devices or tablets, but keeps your plug sockets free for use with other devices or appliances.
The socket fits any standard double backbox with a minimum depth of 25mm and is surge/spike protected - so it protects devices from damaging power spikes.
The 2.1 Amp is split between both USB ports, but each port only pulls the power needed - giving you an optimum charging rate.

The supply being of a 'switched mode' type the current when not in use is very little however it does not 'switch off' when not in use.

This product makes charging devices so easy. Instead of having to plug in transformers, this 13a socket has 2 built in USB ports for mobile phones etc. It is well made and easy to fit, replacing an existing socket.
