  • I have charged these toothbrushes on 110v quite satisfactorily but you need to allow double the time to make up for the fact that the power supply is only half what it is in the UK. By Susan P - Sussex, UK - 22 January 2017
  • I have an Oral-B Pro 1000, which has the same charging base. It is not a dual voltage appliance, and the manual indicates that is designed for a 230 volt supply.     Most of the world (accept the American continent) use 220 to 240 volts. and most hotels or shaving mirrors with a socket can supply 220 volts to charge and run this.

This Question was asked previously by someone else BUT was NOT answered? The New heads become progressively more expensive with each development which although to product is excellent makes the consumables somewhat out of reach?.. Are the previous heads for THIS latest model backwards compatible? i.e. I have stock of the previous heads cand I use them on this machine?
