This is a 'spot cleaner' designed to be used on small area stain removing like a spilled drink. It can be used to tackle stained areas before using a carpet cleaner to clean the rest of the carpet. This can be helpful on light coloured carpets to follow with a carpet cleaner to prevent a 'clean patch' or water marked area on a discoloured carpet.

If your carpet has been damaged by a cleaning product with bleach it is not a stain, the bleach has removed the colour from the area and as such it is not possible to remove the lighter patch.
