Mains Heat Alarm

Heat Alarms are for use in humid or dusty environments where smoke alarms will not operate satisfactorily, such as kitchens, boiler rooms, unconverted attics and garages.

They are triggered when the ambient temperature reaches 57°C and must always be interconnected with smoke alarms from the same product range.

Ideal for use in kitchens as this alarm does not operate unless the surrounding temperature exceeds 57 degrees
 
Do not use in in bedrooms, hallways or shower room.

A house should also have a combination of optical and ionisation alarms.

Specification:

• Dual voltage power supply that will operate with either 230v mains power or 9v battery backup
• Full function Electronic Test switch
• Power on indicator - continuous green LED
• Red LED flashes approximately once a minute showing normal operation
• Red LED flashes once a second when sensing heat in excess of 58ºC (sounder alarm sounds)
• Anti tamper locking mechanism
• Can be connected with up to 23 other Firex alarms
