Fan Oven Element - 1600W

The function of the fan oven element is to heat the oven cavity. When the cooker knob is turned on for your electric cooker, electricity will flow to the element which then proceeds to heat up. Once the element reaches the desired temperature, the electricity flow switches on and off to maintain the temperature

If the internal element filament burns out, this can cause the element to short circuit - and will lead it to fail. Potential signs that the element has blown can be visual things, such as a split, bulge, or blow hole on the element.

eSpares has the replacement fan oven element, that could soon be yours, to help get your fan oven back to the required temperature - so you can continue to make your delicious meals!

The element on my cooker has blown twice - the fan is OK. Your part number ES1624204 is for my model. My query is ;- what does it mean on the product description when it says "New Style" does this mean it is an improved version of this element. They do seem a bit unreliable on this model? Thanks for your help.

The old element was marginally smaller (185mm) but is otherwise likely to be the same. The main cause of failure is overheating if turned directly off and the air flow stops when very hot. To prevent this turn the oven to minimum for one minute before stopping.
