    Easy to fit.

Once I had removed back of hob, it was fitted by 16 screws, it only took a few minutes to remove old regulator and fit new one. Remember to only take one lead off at a time and attach to new regulator or else you will get them muddled up! It works perfectly.

    Perfect replacement part

Just what I needed to get one of the hotplates back in working order. The regulator appears to be exactly the same as the faulty one removed so very happy with the product. Delivery was very fast even though it was being shipped to Ireland. Would highly recommend eSpares

It is possible for the regulator to cause this problem but it is more likely generally to be the element.

Answer this question

My FCEM9 as above. Could it be the regulator as the elements seem fine!

It may be the element, thermostat or electrical cable failure causing the problem. However please view our advice centre page which will give you more information, http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/1/2145 The model in this video may be different to yours, however the process should be similar for other makes and models.

Check the power connections at the wall and at the terminal block on the back. if these are not loose or burning suspect the module.
