Washing Machine Heating Element

If the washing machine is not heating up the water to its usual heat, or it is heating erratically, it could be a problem with the element. A faulty element will impact on how clean your clothes are washed during the cycle, as they will not be as clean without the water being maintained at the correct heat

eSpares could soon help get your washing machine back to the appropriate heated temperature, with this replacement spare element. With the help of eSpares, you could soon be able to get your washing machine in full working order, so you can tackle the laundry that has piled up!

    Job done.

I had used this company before, when I ordered some freezer drawers. This time I wanted a replacement heating element for my washing machine. The part that I wanted popped up on the espares site. I had never fitted a heater element before, so I was pleased that a 'How to fit a heater element to a washing machine' video, popped up on the same page too. After watching the video, I ordered the part. The part came and with reference to the video, it was fitted. The washing machine is back in use. It took a little longer than expected to pull out the old element. The only other part of the fitting that I struggled with, was re-fitting the rubber door ring. However, with the use of some fairy liquid to make the ring slip on easier, and realising that the rubber ring needed to be well pushed in, there was no problem. Next time will be straightforward. The video was very helpful.
