A common problem with some Beko machines is the front drum seal lifts and sticks the drum to the surround seizing the drum. Check for this and replace the seal if required.

Yes the capacitor is likely to be the problem.

stops drying...drier signal comes on and message is given as 'water tank full' above...but the tank is in fact empty
