Is this vacuum designed for cleaning just the inside of the window or can you use it to clean the outside as well?
- It works perfectly both inside and out and if you use the spray bottle and pad on the inside you will have very little water to vacuum up, it is a brilliant product and does what it says on the box.

Well, Laaaaaaaaazy J, although the Karcher website does not make it very clear- customer reviews of the product that I've come across do say that people have used it (successfully) on both inside and outside of the windows.
do you have spares that can correct this problem?

We believe that the red light will normally slowly flash continually until the battery is fully charged then the light will become solid. It may be a battery issue, this product is not made to be dismantled so if under guarantee contact Karcher.
Also how much is the smaller 170mm head to fit this item.
