Oust All Purpose Liquid Descaler - 500ml

Extend the lifespan of your appliances - stop limescale build-up in its tracks! Oust All Purpose Liquid Descaler is ideal to restore your kettle, coffee maker and steam iron - especially if you live in a hard water area. Its rapid action formula removes limescale in just 10 minutes and keeps your small appliances functioning at their best.

Oust multi-purpose descaler is formulated to work quickly and easily to restore most small household appliances to their best in just 10 minutes. This bottle format can be used on kettles, coffee and cappuccino machines and steam irons - it's also ideal for keeping toilet bowls pristine.

Instructions:

Kettles:   

• Water Kettles/Boilers:
• Fill Kettle half full with water and boil water.
• Turn off, and add 100-150 ml OUST Descaler to the hot (not boiling) water.
• Leave in for 30-60 min.
• Rinse with water, repeat Process whenever necessary.

Steam Irons:

Check manufacturer’s instructions before use, as some manufacturers may not recommend descaling.

• Heat iron until it is hand hot and then unplug (make sure iron is switched OFF during descaling). Add 1 capful of Oust to a jug of water and pour into iron’s water chamber. Top up with water and set to steam position (but DO NOT turn iron back on)
• Place the iron in an empty plastic bowl with the warm plate facing down. Shake gently until the solution starts to drain through steam holes. Leave for 10 minutes (or until empty). If iron has a spray button, briefly pump any remaining solution through
• Rinse thoroughly with cold water, drain and dry. To ensure the solution is completely cleaned from iron, briefly iron a spare piece of fabric before you next use the iron on clothes

Coffee Maker:

• Mix 100ml of OUST Descaler with 200ml of water and pour the mixture into the water tank.
• Turn the device on and let 50ml of the mixture run through, turn off and wait 15-30 min.
• Afterwards, let the remaining liquid run through and repeat the process two times with clear water.

Fully Automatic Coffee Machine:

• Fill the water tank, add 50ml of OUST Descaler to every 1L of water.
• Start descaling program in accord with the usage instructions.

Toilet Bowls:

•  Squirt Oust under the rim of bowl and leave for a few minutes before flushing

Taps and Surfaces:

• Apply OUST Descaler with a wet towel, allow to act for a short time and rinse off with water.
• In order to intensify the shine, rub dry.
• Consider the manufacturer’s cleaning and descaling recommendations.
