The drawer in the freezer of the above unit is stuck! I have tried defrosting it a couple of times yet it still refuses to move! My mother suggests I get a new one and bite the bullet and break the old up on removal! This is looking like my only real option! Are replacements still available?

As your appliance is not frost free it suggests the drawer has frozen onto the frost on the evaporator. Emptying the freezer and fully defrosting it for 24 hours should release the drawer.
