Fridge/freezer model ART462R. Service number: 856446215020 I've bought a replacement thermostat but cannot see how to remove the housing cover. I can remove the housing cover and the back plate but cannot separate the two. Can you help?

The thermostat housing Stock Number: ES700068 as you can see on the three images is a one piece moulding and does not separate.

Answer this question

I would like to order a fridge thermostat (Your Stock Number: ES1481216) but before so doing can you advise how I access the existing 'stat? The housing is very similar to that shown in your video but it doesn't have the Philips headed screw towards the front and I'm mindful of the review by Tom of Enfield, Middlesex, “An easy job - but you need to find out how to dismantle the surrounding plastic shroud. I damaged mine!” Many thanks.

The image for the housing Stock Number: ES149627 shows four plastic hooks that will hold this in place until slid away from the bulb end. There also appears to be a 'screw hole' loop to lock it under the bulb.
