I have replaced the element and although the left grill gets hot, it is not red at all, would the regulator cause this? (Rangemaster 90 6733121644)

If the regulator is defective it can be a problem with the contacts, you would need to test the regulator to determine if it has failed.

If only part of the grill element is working then meter the element before suspecting anything else, make sure to check for any signs of damage to any of the components.

Answer this question

I have printed a picture to check this part with the cooker for accuracy but I have two blue Neutral wires to two of the same connections. The two Neutral points that have a second wire. So where the blue wires connect to the pins that comes out of this part, there should be two pins coming from the same slot for two Neutrals instead of one. this means there would be 10 connections instead of 8. How will i get round this problem? is it different on the inside workings. Do you have a part that follows my description?.
