Refrigerator Fan Motor

If the fan motor is faulty in your kitchen appliance, it could lead to your food not being stored at the correct temperature. The fan motor is situated behind the fan blades, and ensures that the cold air is generated to circulate around the inside of your appliance.

We do not have access to the wiring diagram, make sure you take a photo of the wiring before you replace the part to ensure it is wired the same way as the original.

Answer this question

I have removed old fan to replace ,but the replacement part is wired differently. I do not want to purchase fan if i am unable to connect it correctly.

Answer this question

Hi, The fan on my fridge is very noisy (Sucks air across the heat exchanges in the base of the fridge) . Looks to be a simple swap out although the price of the replacement seems very high at £100. Anything to watch out for? Kr Ian

In the case of a faulty fan, there aren't any quick fixes, so the best option is to replace it.
