Will replacing this fix my issue. Or if the ice maker is working then does it mean it's not the solenoid valve that is the issue?

Test the solenoid valve with a multimeter to check if faulty, if the is water then valve does sound ok so have a look at the door pipe and PCB.
I have water at the drinks dispenser buy there is no water getting to the ice maker. I know this because I have checked for a supply from the splitter and nothing comes out. Is this part okay or could there be an electrical fault? 1 Answer

Check the coils with a meter, If OK suspect the tube feeding the ice maker may have frozen and blocked.

Some Samsung fridge freezers can suffer from ice build-up and may have a modification kit to prevent this occurring Stock Number: ES1406833, check this first and test the reservoir in the fridge that cools the water. Also, meter the water valve to ensure it is supplying water.
Apart from constant leakage from the fridge itself which i assume is not fixable my ice tray overfills with water, not constant but just too much, will this part fix this problem? 1 Answer

If the valve is not working correctly it may be supplying the water when not required, Samsung does have issues with ice build-up causing issues see ES1406833
I replaced this part a few years ago, I have water to the drinks dispenser, but none to the ice maker, Will this part solve the problem 1 Answer

Some Samsung fridge freezers can suffer from ice build-up and may have a modification kit to prevent this occurring Stock Number: ES1406833. Fully defrost before removing the cover. Fit the brackets onto the back of the upper mounting screws, replace and move the sensor to the far left of the pipework and reset codes as per the instructions. Check and replace the defrost heater if required.
