Hi my Sebo vacuum cleaner was giving off a burning smell. It stopped working except for the brush head light flickering off and on and the bag full. Do you think I should chuck it or try replacing the brush head. I have tried unblocking where necessary and there was nothing. The you for your help.

Answer this question

My Sebo vacuum works very well other than it now fails to pick up bits from the floor. The suctions seems to be fine and I have replaced the bag. I have checked the belts and cannot find any other reason for it failing to pick up bits. I have checked the existing roller, which is clear of threads etc. and the brushes seem to fit well in the roller housing so I am not sure if a new roller would make any difference. Any ideas?

The brush pile length can wear down and this will have a significant effect on the ability to pick up.
