I have tested it with a meter and there is no continuity across it. Does it mean its faulty?

If the meter is indicating the limiter is open circuit as it has no reading through it it would suggest the limiter is faulty.

after removing the rear panel of the tumble the Limiter-temperature was accessible. Four metal tabs hold product in place ,these were easily lifted to allow the new part to be fitted , two spade terminals to connect it to the machine, lastly refit back panel and all was done and working . Dont forget power off when covers are removed.
