This is a soft mastic like a type of 'Blue Tac' and is designed for fitting a standard hob 600mm x 600mm. It should be possible to manipulate this to go further and fit a larger hob top.

This is a putty like substance in strips that can be used to seal any hob top to a worktop. Being non setting allows the removal for service if required.
