After watching an easy-to-follow YouTube video I purchased a new washing machine door seal to replace the existing one which had split and was letting water out. The correct quality item arrived within a couple of days and it took a steady three hours to replace, but was well worth the effort and resulted in a full repair.

Samsung Freezer ice bucket quick fix
Samsung Freezer ice bucket was at a comparable price with the OEM part on Samsung's Spares site and it actually arrived 3 days earlier than quoted by E-spares which was a fun surprise and prevented further potential damage to the ice agitator motor. NOTE: The European model number of the fridge-freezer did not appear initially in the E-Spares catalogue but I was able to simplify the suffix of the number so the correct appliance product was found and then the ice bucket part was made visible.
