The machine goes through part of the selected wash cycle, heater OK but lights 4 & 6 start flashing before the end of rinse/drying ?

It sounds like an error code is displaying a fault, you will need to determine what error code is displaying to check what part is not working.
my PCB board kept blinking from one programme to another and switching off the machine. I opened the door and the wiring loom had been chaffing against a wire which retains the black soundproofing material. So it looks likely that the board had been damaged by intermittent 'shorting' and it needs replaced and this is compatible with my model which is LFT114uk. But in trawling your list of parts I also came across this part ES1329672, Hotpoint Dishwasher Control Module for LFT114UK. Is there another control panel somewhere else in the machine ? Do I need to replace both ?

Please note: The module used on your machine is supplied unprogrammed and will not work at all until it is programmed by an external programmer by a professional engineer. Maybe a good alternative for you would be to use a repair company like "Repaircare" who offer a fixed price option.
