You will need to take the cover plate off and check how the old one is slotted before replacing, you will a Torx screwdriver.
Are there four in a pack as there are four knobs on the machine

The part was exactly as per the manufacturer in every way. E-spares customer service kindly sent me an exploded view of this area of the cooker which helped a great deal in fitting it. Even so it requires a little perseverance to work out how everything slots together and as might be expected a star bit screwdriver is required. These parts are typically a similar price if a repair service is used and I think very expensive for what they are (I'd guess at over 2000% mark up over manufacturing costs). They are likely to be singly sourced goods so no competition and customers are forced to pay these ridiculous prices.
